7 Day Prayer Miracle - 2020 New Spirituality

The Days of Miracles Are Not Over!

7 Day Prayer Miracle - 2020 New Spirituality. In 1976 I took my two-year-old daughter, Crystal, to Illinois to visit my family. During a visit to my sister's home, Crystal was playing in a back room with her cousins where she picked up an extension cord and bit down into it.

The other children came running to tell me, "Crystal is hurt, she bit the cord". When I reached her, she was lying on the floor crying. I inspected her lips and there was just a tiny white dot on both her upper and lower lip. She immediately stopped crying, so I put some ointment on the two tiny areas and she went on playing with the other children.

Two days later, Crystal reached up and literally pulled off a piece of her upper lip. I was terrified! I immediately ran her to the emergency room. There was a medical conference going on in St. Elizabeth Hospital that day and the plastic surgeon, which operated on the actress, Anne Margaret, when she fell and needed reconstructive surgery, "just happened" to be at the hospital at that time.

He examined Crystal and told me that an electrical burn, unlike other burns, does all its damage on the inside first. He told me that left untreated, everywhere the electrical current traveled inside Crystal's mouth and up the side of her face, would eventually die and need to be removed.

He said he was working on an idea for an experimental surgery for just this sort of burn. He said he would first go in and remove all the dead tissue, then he would sew Crystal's tongue to her lips for six weeks in order for the blood flow to keep her lips and facial tissue alive.

After that, he would graft skin from the inside of Crystal's mouth into the lip area and fill it in with pink skin. He and asked me if I would be willing for him to perform the surgery on her injuries.

I had recently seen a little boy, who had bitten into the cord of his mother's iron and the surgeons had cut away all the burned tissue and simply sewed closed the side of his mouth and cheeks; his face was scarred and his mouth twisted.

I was willing to do anything to save my beautiful little girl from such a fate. I agreed. I slept in a hospital bed next to my daughter for the following eight weeks, during which time Dr. Mauns performed five surgeries on my daughter.

After two months, Dr. Mauns released us to leave the hospital and return to our home in Michigan. But before I left that day, he told me that the pieces of skin he'd filled Crystal's lips with, would not grow along with the rest of her and that until she reached the age of 18,

Crystal would need to have this same surgery performed on her every two years to replace the grafted skin and avoid her face and mouth twisting and becoming deformed over the years. I could not bear to think of putting my little girl through this painful nightmare every two years, and having no health insurance at the time, I doubted they would be willing to perform thousands of dollars of plastic surgery on her again anyway.

When I returned to Michigan, I took little Crystal to my church and my Pastor anointed her with oil and prayed the prayer of faith over her. I began to confess Crystal's total healing and to thank the Lord that she would never need another surgery on this injury.

As I write these words today, it is 32 years later; Crystal is a lovely wife and mommy and has never again had another surgery on her lips. Her face and lips are a picture of beauty, simply perfect. The pieces of skin that Dr. Mauns said would not grow, grew right along with Crystal's face in perfect unison.

Today Crystal owns her own beauty salon (how fitting) and also is a beauty consultant for skincare and makeup products. If you didn't already know what she'd been through, you could never tell it by looking at her.

And to top it off, the hospital called me and said that once a year the board chooses an uninsured family and releases their medical bills; this year I had been chosen. The mountain of medical bills was wiped out in a moment's time!

When God does something, He does it right! No matter what your need is today, don't give up, and don't give in to fear and unbelief. Crystal and I are here to testify to you today that, "The Days of Miracles are Not Over!

The Power Of Prayer

As Christian, we know the power of prayers in our own lives as well as its power for our children's lives. There is so much that we want for ourselves and our children - so many dreams, hopes, plans, desires. How can we possibly get all these? Prayer is the only answer.

The Bible is filled with God's promises, we have to use these promises from God's words as the basis for praying for ourselves and our loved ones. We have to pray for the reality of those promises into our lives.

Our prayers have great power over the persons or issues we are praying for, but we must trust God to work in his way and in his time. We must be patient, if you have to keep praying for years, then keep praying for years because that is the most powerful thing you can do. Miracles will happen one day.

Prayer is our communion with our Lord, opening our heart and pouring out our grief to Him. Prayer is an open expression of our woes at His feet just as a child speaks to his father or mother.

What will happen if we pray earnestly, pleading with God? Consider what happened in the life of Hannah. After she poured out all her mental distresses to the Lord, all her burden and worries vanished. She entered into a divine peace which the world cannot give, her heart was filled with 'the peace of God which surpasses all understanding'. Her heart and soul are overflowing with joy even though the child had not yet been formed in her womb.

Because of her prayers coupled with her faith, a sweet boy, named Samuel was born to her. This was also the result of her patience. Yes! The Lord who always 'regards our prayers' will certainly listen to our prayers of supplication and answer them.
